Small Business Program Manager

As the Small Business Program Manager, Meghan is responsible for spearheading the Small Business Support Hubs (SBSH) funding awarded to Velocity from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). This program offers a range of resources including one-on-one coaching, cohort-based learning, accelerators, mentor matchmaking, pitch competitions, networking events, access to capital, partner referrals, and statewide resources.

Meghan has over a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry within a worker-owned cooperative business model. She was responsible for launching Boston’s first mobile coffee trikes and has opened and consulted with cafes throughout the US and abroad. When not watching her boys play soccer, she loves cooking and traveling.

The SBSH award will help to demonstrate Velocity’s commitment to driving economic growth, creating jobs, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within Macomb County. Meghan is excited about making connections within the community and collaborating with small business owners and entrepreneurs.
