Our Story

Discover how Velocity became a leading business incubator, accelerator, and coworking space dedicated to fostering economic development and innovation in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Velocity is the MEDC SmartZone Business Incubator, Accelerator, and International Landing Zone serving Macomb County, Michigan. We work with entrepreneurs and existing businesses regardless of industry to help them start, grow, and scale their operations. While we work with businesses of all sizes and industries, we have a special focus on high-tech and advanced manufacturing, Department of Defense, Aerospace, and Mainstreet businesses. We offer support through educational offerings, business coaching, grant opportunities, and funding connections. In addition, Velocity provides the latest technology and collaborative work environment with Coworking, Private Office Suites, and Event Space Rentals.
