I have been collecting CRV bottles and cans for a while and want to bring them in somewhere reliable. The thing is, I have heard mixed stories about weighing and refund rates. How do you usually verify that a recycling spot is legit and not going to short you on the count?

They take clear, green and brown CRV glass bottles, wine and liquor included, as long as nothing is broken, and aluminum cans either whole or crushed without making a fuss about prep work. What I usually check before driving over is whether the place lists what they accept openly and whether the refund terms are written down somewhere I can read calmly at home.
