NAMC & Velocity brings Donuts & Defense to Grand Rapids for Tech Week!
For the first time, Donuts & Defense is hitting the road as part of Tech Week Grand Rapids.
Join West Michigan’s technology, engineering, manufacturing and defense communities for a morning focused on the ideas, capabilities and relationships shaping the future of national defense. Donuts & Defense creates an approachable setting for established defense organizations, emerging technology companies and businesses exploring the defense market to learn from one another and make meaningful connections.
The event will follow the established Donuts & Defense format, combining:
A featured keynote or panel focused on a timely defense and technology topic
Approximately 10 fast-paced, three-minute capability pitches
Informal networking over coffee and donuts
The three-minute pitches will give participating organizations an opportunity to introduce their expertise, highlight emerging or dual-use technologies and explain where their capabilities may contribute to defense modernization. Attendees will gain a quick look at the breadth of regional innovation while identifying potential customers, suppliers, teammates and technology partners.
Programming will explore the technologies and challenges influencing the defense ecosystem, including advanced mobility, autonomy, robotics, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing and other mission-relevant capabilities.
